celina80: (I Gotta Get Out)
Goodbye to 2004 and welcome in 2005.

First thing on my agenda, besides finding another job...I want to see Phantom of the Opera. It's a need that I must do. It was the first musical I had ever seen live. I saw it in Canada when I was 14, and realized then that I needed something musical to have in my life. Little did I know in ten years I would have been in an opera and two musicals.

My newest goal...The Metropolitan Opera stage. Big goal I know, and I've been told I'm not nearly old enough to be in the chorus. I was told this by someone who I trust dearly. So it's just another goal to add to the goal shelf.

I'm seriously thinking of going back to school to be a teacher again. I want to be more of a vocal coach/voice teacher, but at the same time I want to be able to perform. So I'm thinking, Vocal performance major with a minor in music education. This is what I get for watching primetime or something like that when it was talking about a music teacher who taught the met's children's choir. I loved how she taught them. Strict, yet not harsh. Treat every rehearsal as if you were on stage. Don't do something that you wouldn't do on stage. I like my music challenging, but it works best if you have someone who'll push you that extra mile. A person who knows that you've got the potential to achieve that dream of a child so long ago.

But anyway....yes. I have to see Phantom of the Opera. ANYONE want to go? We'll have to go to Knoxville since it's the ONLY place showing it. I also want to see Finding Neverland, but that can wait.
